Hutto Premier Dentistry's COVID Response
Dear patients and friends,
I hope this message finds you all safe and well! As we continue to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, I would like to take a moment to keep you updated on our operations at Hutto Premier Dentistry.
Since our first patient in 2008, we have always maintained the cleanest and safest environment possible for you and our team. Now, more than ever, we will continue to strictly adhere to all guidelines from the CDC and Texas State Board of Dental Examiners in regards to the sterilization of instruments, disinfection of our clinical area and waiting room, and our team’s use of personal protective equipment when providing your dental care.
With health and safety in mind, the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners has mandated several new guidelines that all dentists in Texas must follow in order to provide patient care. If you are not comfortable following these guidelines we will be unable to provide dental care for you.
Here are some of the guidelines you will notice when you visit our practice:
In addition to the changes we have made, we also recognize that many of our patients are facing financial challenges as the COVID pandemic continues. To help you receive the dental care you need, and ease the financial investment of dental care, we will continue to offer in-house financing arrangements. We will also remain “in-network” with several insurance plans, accept Care Credit, and offer our own in-house Dental Savers Plan.
Finally, I would like to offer my sincere gratitude for your support during this time, and your patronage throughout the years. We are here for you and ready to provide our community with excellent dental care in the safest environment possible. We also appreciate your understanding and compliance with our operational changes. Thank you!
Sincerely,
John F. McEntire, DDS

Here are some of the guidelines you will notice when you visit our practice:
- A temperature reading will be taken on all patients prior to receiving dental care; if your temperature is above 100 degrees, we will kindly ask you to reschedule your appointment. Likewise, all of our team members have their temperature taken twice daily and are not allowed to work with a fever.
- You will be asked to complete a questionnaire, or answer verbal questions, about your recent health and travel history.
- Once you are “checked-in”, you are welcome to wait outside our clinic or in your vehicle until your dental hygienist or dental assistant is ready to escort you directly to your disinfected treatment room.
- You will be required to wear a mask or face-covering in our lobby, our clinical area, and anytime you are not activity receive dental care.
- Only one person is allowed to escort a patient into our clinical area.
- Our doctors and team members will no longer shake hands when greeting you. While we realize this is not the HPD way, we promise to give you the same excellent, friendly care you have always received!
- Our magazines, coffee bar, and other lobby amenities have been temporarily removed.
- Our team members may be wearing enhanced personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gowns/jackets, face shields, and surgical caps.
